Be a Birthday Buddy

$20 = a reason to smile.

Many of the children and adults we serve have never had a real birthday celebration. You can change that.

Your gift helps provide:

  • A birthday cake

  • A small gift or toy

  • A special outing with their care provider

Host a Donation Drive

Gather you friends and family to collect items for our youth and adults.

Items needed: Unisex clothing, sensory toys, baby essentials, and toiletries.

Give once. Change a life forever.

Every dollar you give helps meet real, immediate needs—whether it’s groceries for a foster family, hygiene items for a teen, or school supplies for a child starting over.

Your gift provides:

  • Basic essentials for youth and families

  • Emergency support for those in crisis

  • Resources that help kids thrive—not just survive

The Companion Program

Because no one should walk alone.

At CCS, we believe healing happens in relationship. The Companion Program connects caring adults with youth in our foster care and host home programs to build consistent, meaningful relationships that help kids feel seen, safe, and supported.

Being a Companion isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about showing up.

Whether it’s grabbing ice cream, going for a walk, attending a school play, or just listening — Companions offer steady presence in a world that often feels unstable.

What Companions Do:

  • Build trust through regular connection

  • Offer encouragement, support, and a listening ear

  • Celebrate milestones and everyday moments

  • Help kids and teens feel valued and known

Training & Support:

We’ll equip you with everything you need to get started — including trauma-informed training, ongoing support, and guidance from our clinical team. You’re never walking alone, either.

Why It Matters:

Many kids in care have experienced broken trust and inconsistent relationships. Companions help rewrite that story — one conversation, one moment, one connection at a time.

Become a Foster Parent or Host Home Provider

There’s nothing more powerful than a safe, stable home. We’re looking for compassionate individuals and couples ready to care for:

  • Children and teens in therapeutic foster care

  • Adults with developmental disabilities in our Host Home program

We’ll walk with you every step of the way—with training, support, and a community that’s got your back.
