TFC Supervisor Job Description

Creative Community Services, Inc. (CCS) is a therapeutic foster care agency serving children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities. For over 40 years, we have served Georgia’s most vulnerable populations through our programs and services.

As a key member of the Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) Clinical Team, the TFC Supervisor ensures the coordination of care and support for TFC Family Consultants, youth, and families. Reporting directly to the Director of TFC, this role emphasizes trauma-informed practices, advocacy, and collaborative problem-solving to promote the well-being and therapeutic progress of youth in care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the safety and therapeutic growth of youth in foster placements.
  • Lead Individual Service Plan (ISP) development and oversee implementation.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation (case notes, ISP reports, mediation forms, etc.).
  • Provide ongoing support to youth and foster families, with weekly contact as a standard.
  • Act as an advocate for youth, attending relevant meetings and coordinating necessary services.
  • Participate in agency on-call rotation to support urgent needs.
  • Uphold state and federal mandated reporter requirements and TFC program policies.
  • Conduct audits of client records to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field.
  • Experience with trauma-focused care, therapeutic foster care, and family systems.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and make policy-guided decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including SOAP note proficiency.
  • Proficiency with systems like Extended Reach and SHINES.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • At least 21 years of age.

Salary range: $44,000 – $46,000
