Developmental Disabilities
Our program serves adults with developmental disabilities
such as autism, cerebral palsy, and Down’s syndrome who
yearn for successful independence and have much to
offer their community.
Developmental Disabilities
With one out of every 100 children in our nation diagnosed with Autism, CCS recognizes that this population will need support as they grow into adulthood, especially once their families are no longer able to meet their special needs.
Our Original Mission
CCS’s original mission was to improve the lives of adults with developmental and physical disabilities living in residential facilities. Today, our program continues to serve these adults by helping them live in the most independent environment possible and give them what everyone deserves: the support of a loving family.
We provide case management, life skills training, social outings, assistance with medical and recreational needs, as well as ongoing support. Most importantly, we help certify families as host homes providers who become extended family to the individuals in care.
Why Become a Host Home Provider?
A host home is similar to a foster home. A trained and capable host home provider becomes extended family to the individuals in their care. Interested in joining the family? Fill out this form now.
